Good
Sunday morning everyone! It's not yet 9:00 and the sun is already
up. Winter will soon be over.
Kitty
is still resting. I just finished the dishes (almost) and thought I
would drop in with a quick update.
I
am working for CarQuest AutoParts now. I just finished my second
week. It's a whole new world for me. After 30 years in helicopters,
I'm learning something new all over again. There are parts to be
stocked and parts to be sold. Customers to deal with and parts to be
delivered. I like running parts to customers best. My weak point
will be dealing with the customers and the computer...at least for
now. Don't worry, I'll get it!
Future project, I hope!
We've
had a lot of snow since my last post. Check out our roof! Our
landlord does a good job at keeping us plowed but he's running out of
room to put the snow now. We had had a lot this year! The old
ShelterLojic storage tent is still holding up well.
The
doll house is finished but haven't got it into a shop yet. Going to
work every day all of a sudden took that time away. I'll get it
there.
I'm
making something new that I hope to have done today or tomorrow. A
friend gave us some old 1922 piano parts to use. Thank you Crafty
Tulip! A couple of the pieces are heavy and bronze, I think she said
these are what the hammers rested on. I'm turning them into a
fishing rod rack using reclaimed pallet wood. This is gonna look
cool!
Time
to get off here for now. Just wanted to touch base and said hi to
all! Peace!
