Eternal Patriot

On January 26th 2016, a cowboy who stood up for his Constitutional Rights fell. He spoke eloquently his thoughts, feelings and concerns, not in a dark room hiding but out in the open for all to hear. He was called many things...criminal, crazy, and terrorist. We called him Patriot.

This cowboy was a God fearing man that put others ahead of himself. He believed in the Bible and he believed in the Constitution, both writings this country was founded and built on. As a citizen of the United States of America he voiced his First Amendment Right to Freedom of Speech and Expression, against what he believed was a grave injustice. For exercising his rights as a citizen he lost his life.

His story touched many. People noticed. Citizens awoke to witness the truth. From Florida to Alaska and all states in between, patriots watched one of their own, an ordinary citizen fall, simply for standing up for not only his rights but for all of our rights that we see slipping away faster every day.

His story inspired my wife. When she takes up a cause, she is passionate. Through this injustice she worked tirelessly to get the word out. Due to the efforts of thousands of patriots all around our great land the truth was spread.

To honor this cowboy, Kitty Wolf has created this beautiful lighted sculpture as a memorial. Made from whatever she had on hand or could find, this memorial will stand the test of time. An old pair of boots, a straw hat, a vintage amber globe, and more. A mound of seemingly useless cast offs have received new life from her vision. Notice the cross, suspended in air. As was said before, this cowboy was a God fearing man. Rough cut Alaska Spruce serves as a fitting platform. The bow tie near the top of the pillar is covered with three Australian Opals in a 24K gold setting. Again, another cast off.

Hanging beneath the bronzed cowboy hat is a 17th century key...the key of knowledge which is suspended by a barbed ring signifying the miles of wire this man stretched during his lifetime. Even the bouquets are representative of the flora and fauna found at the Malheur Refuge.

To signify the location of the creation of this memorial, the Great Seal Of The State Of Alaska has been prominently included. Not only is this one of a kind work of art beautiful to look at, the meaning and symbolism run deep. Kitty Wolf poured her heart and soul into this creation. This creation has been her passion. With that being said, Arctic Artique is honored to present,

Eternal Patriot
