Hi
all. Its been a while. This winter has been one heck
of a roller coaster ride. I'm not going to bore you with the
details, so to make a long story short, we're still in our cabin
right now and trying to make it back to fire season or whatever else
I can get to come up.
What
I want to show you is the doll house we've been working on since last
winter. It is just about done and it turned out cool. We just have
to figure out how to market it now. This has to be displayed for it
to be appreciated. We'll figure that out the next week or so. The
big plan is to have this available before Valentine's Day.
Keep
in mind that these are just sneak peak pics. I'll show the final set
when its done. Gonna try something new too. Kitty wants me to do a
video of the completed project. I'm going to give it a try. Move up
to the next level of blogging and communication. Wish me luck and
hope to see you there when it happens!
So
anyway, this beautiful home is called
The
Glencroft.
It's
a kit we came across a few years back on our local Craigslist. It
came out in 1983 and has been bouncing around from owner to owner
since then. Every time it changed hands over the years the new owner
opened the box, looked at the stack of instructions and the pile of
lumber, then promptly scratched their heads, put the cover back on
the box, and figured out the best place to store it for the next ten
years until they got rid of it.
And
it still had all the pieces!
This
was a good project!

Norman
and Ally are getting along great now. He has turned out to be the
buddy she needs. This is not the same dog we brought home the night
before Christmas that was a day or two away from death. WiggleButt
has turned into a darned good dog! I think we saved a life!
