We're supposed to talk about what we're thankful for at the Thanksgiving holiday. I'm a little late. I'd like to title this post:

What I'm Thankful For

I'm thankful I'm alive. I remember never thinking I would make it to 25.
I'm thankful for my life's experiences, both good and bad. My experiences have made me the person I have become.
I'm thankful for the ability to learn. After a lifetime of being afraid of my own shadow and inability to think outside the box, I now know I can do anything I set my mind to.
I'm thankful I'm autistic, believe it or not. Although I didn't know I lived on the spectrum most of my life, I believe that my autistic traits and qualities are what kept me an honest person.
I'm thankful I'm autistic, believe it or not. When I finally found a subject matter that interested me, my autism gave me the ability to focus on that subject and be the best I could be. I loved helicopters!
I'm thankful for the hard times. I know, that sounds like a funny one. I took life and everything about it for granted most of my life. I was a self-centered, all about me young man and then old man. The hard times are now giving me a new sense of what is really important in this life.
The little things.
Others.
I'm thankful for my wife, Miss Kitty. Without her none of the above statements would be possible. At great expense to herself, Kitty taught me how to be a decent human being. She has stayed with me through everything when ALL others would have bailed on me long ago.
I'm thankful to be here at this point in time talking to you about me. This blog is the chronological archive of a transformation...mine.
I'm again thankful for my wife, Miss Kitty. Without her, this blog would have never happened.

There will be glitter!
