Life has been moving fast since coming home from Galena. We have been on the run since I walked in the door. We found our new home for the upcoming year. It is another cabin, this one being even farther out in the bush. We are getting much closer to Kitty's goal of a tiny home. We've been working on getting down to fighting weight for a while now. Over the next couple weeks we will be lightening the load even more. It's hard to believe how much stuff we carry around that isn't used. There comes a time when you have to purge.

I got to take a break today from the nonstop running. A friend took his boat out for a short run and invited me along. We didn't have much time, it was only for an hour or so, but was relaxing and lot's of fun!

We were on the Chena river and motored down to where the Chena empties in to the Tanana River. We couldn't have asked for a nicer day. It was fun motoring by the tourists all looking and waving at us. Ally was showing off for them!

Check these out. We still have working riverboats here. Tourists cruises are their business now but these paddle wheels and many more like them use to run all over these rivers back in the old days.

I got to see an eagle nest. No birds in it right now, they must have been out fishing. Speaking of fishing, the Silver Salmon are now beginning their spawning run. Soon, our waters will be filled with more salmon swimming upstream to spawn. Salmon have an incredible memory and sense After hatching, making their way to the ocean, and living there several years, they all return to the exact spot in the river they were born in to lay their eggs. That's amazing!

I don't have much more tonight. Besides moving and getting art ready to sell we have started up our eBay page for another season. I have been listing for a few days now. It's fun but does take some time to get the ads rolling.

Thanks again for stopping by. I'll show you the new home of Arctic Artique soon. You're going to like it!
