Here
I am at the bazaar for my second try at this. It's 10:00 and I
already know this is going to be a better day! I have already made
money! Kitty and I worked till we dropped this week. She went way
above and beyond. For a sick lady she can still do it when she has
to.
I
promised you pictures from my day as it went so I may as well start
now. First is Kitty Wolf's mannequin, which is completely following
the recycle, repurpose, reuse tradition. If you will notice the
heavy base, she found an old standing floor lamp that had seen better
days and was discarded. The crystals come from an old turn of the
century pair of candle stick holders. Someone had replaced the
original crystals with these, so she decided they would look better
accessorizing this beautiful display piece. The fabric covering the
75% off styrofoam mannequin is antique being made during the civil
war era. Everything about this piece oozes Victorian class.
Everything about this is breathtaking.
Moving
on, as you can see my display is better this week. We set up a table
in our kitchen last night to practice setting up. I DO NOT look like
Fred Sanford this week. I am proud of what I have done and am doing
here today. To all of my spectrum brothers and sisters, remember
that if you fail the first time around, do it again. Then do it
again. And again until you accomplish what you set out to do. If I
can overcome my fears and resistance to change, I know you can do it
too!
That's
it for now. If I get some spare time today I will be posting again.
My hope is that I am so busy, learning how to sell and talk to people
that I won't have time to jump on line. Have a good one everybody!
