A New Orbit For 'Yesterday's World'

Today was a very good day. Kitty Wolf and Arctic Artique received the validation she so desperately needed. Her latest creation 'Yesterday's World' went to its new home. This beautiful old world lighted sculpture is now loved in a new and beautiful setting. Kitty didn't feel well due to my getting lost the first attempt to find her residence so stayed home when I finally made my delivery. The stress of my finding the wrong house so soon after a late season snow wore her out. Anyway, the very nice lady I brought her art to couldn't wait for me to pull the cover off so she beat me to it! Kitties creation was more than she had hoped for. She completely loved this one of a kind masterpiece. She loved Kitties vision. She was disappointed my wife wasn't there. Kitty articulates her thoughts so well. I did not do my wife or her work justice when trying to explain this unique lighting device. When I returned home Iwas lucky enough to see the smile on her face when I told her what happened. This brightened her day during what has turned out to be a very painful and tiring week. I do not envy what she is enduring right now.

There are reasons for my wife feeling the need to be validated. Some day, after she is gone I will talk about them. This is the one thing she wants me to do. Eventually tell her story. For now, it was enlightening to me to see her truly happy. Arctic Artique has sold it's second major piece of art. Kitty Wolf is an old soul and she has put her soul into making her visions become reality. A better reality than the one she sees.

My wife is unconventional.  She's unique.  She's got a good heart.  She's a bush baby. She was an Alaskan in Sotheby's for a time back in the day. She saw art. She learned antiques. Most important, she developed her vision, though she didn't know it at the time. She has led an interesting and difficult life. Today, she was validated. Her life was poured into 'Yesterday's World.'
