Lavoy Finicum

Yesterday, a memorial and burial was held for Lavoy Finicum, a man that peacefully stood against the United States government. He not only peacefully exercised his First Amendment to the United States Constitution of Freedom of Speech for himself, he peacefully exercised this right for you also. For his peaceful act in which no one was hurt or terrorized in any way, shape or form, he was ambushed and gunned down by the United States government. Dash cam and drone footage was doctored, the official narrative was damaging to this peaceful man, and he has been vilified by the main stream talking heads.

To add insult to injury, a beautiful memorial that was erected in his honor at the site of the killing was desecrated and destroyed only one day after it was created by United States of America citizens. Anyone contradicting the United States official narrative concerning Burns, Oregon has apparently been deemed a threat to the country by 'our' government. I should know. My wife is an online activist who has taken a large interest in the happenings at Burns. For her actions, our computer was hacked, she was locked out of her FaceBook account, and an extreme comment was posted as being attributed to her. For this comment that came from an IP address other than ours, my wife and myself earned an investigation and several calls, along with a meeting with two local FBI agents. Of course, they did not offer business cards, but they were young. She still continues to have her online activities monitored by none other than...well, you can guess. From what we understand, peace loving American citizens all across this great country of ours received similar investigations and intimidation visits at the same time.

This is what the ambush and killing of Lavoy Finicum has done. Ordinary United States citizens are finally realizing just how corrupt their government has become. Ordinary United States citizens are being intimidated, incarcerated and even buried for exercising their Constitutional rights...peacefully, I might add.

As for myself, I am hopefully going to be working again soon, after 'our' government took my 30 year career away with the implementation of the Affordable Care Act. I had asked my wife to tone down her rhetoric. I had asked my wife not to put things out there that could jeopardize my potential new employment. I had asked my wife to stop exercising her First Amendment Right to Free Speech for my sake.

Why? Because I was afraid. Myself, like so many others in our country know that what we are seeing is not right. Myself, like so many others in our country know that something has to be done to protect our country and the United States Constitution. Myself, along with so many others in our country wondered why nothing was changing as we were angry at what we saw but did nothing. Why? Again, because I was afraid. Afraid and Intimidated.

No more. I am still afraid. Against all odds for an autistic person I enlisted in the United States Navy in 1984. I served my country. I swore an oath to uphold and defend the Constitution of the United States. I earned membership into the Veterans of Foreign Wars for my service. As an autistic veteran, I will uphold my oath of service. I'm sure that my wife and I will be visited again. You know, she did nothing wrong. She exercised her Freedom of Speech and got hacked by our government for it. She will not stop exercising her First Amendment right and I will no longer silently wish for her to stop.

This is the United States of America of which I am a citizen, guaranteed many rights by our Bill of Rights, which is being trampled on over and over again by an overreaching government. Lavoy Finicum merely exercised his rights as an American citizen. He was killed and vilified for his PEACEFUL actions. This picture and writing are small, but is the only way I know how to stand for my country. All because of one peaceful man.

May you be at peace
