Do you recognize these pictures? Do you remember keyboarding drills during 5th hour right after lunch? Do you remember Jerry Lewis banging away on one of these during one of his black and white solo movies? If so, you know what this is and can appreciate it fully! This is a vintage portable typewriter in powdered baby blue, complete with case, from Sears. All keys are intact as well as the ribbon. It is dry but still in good condition. It is heavy at roughly 15 pounds and will be shipped as Standard Post. The case measurements are 13x13x4 inches. Kids, if you are actually looking at Ebay...here is your history lesson for the day. Back in the dark ages, before I pods and I phones and tablets and laptops...even before desktops, Pacman, and Pong, we used these things to write with. A computer keyboard is based on the design and positioning of the typewriter keys. We wrote letters and reports and school assignments on these and we liked them. It was much easier than hand writing long paragraphs. These were the precursor to the computer and if we ever lose the grid, you just may need one in the future! Thank you for stopping by Shangri-Lah-Di-Da and be sure to check out our other listings. Much more to come!

Obviously, I don't know how to transfer a link from Ebay to here yet, but I thought I would show another dimension of Arctic Artique.  Welcome to   Shangri-Lah-Di-Da, our Ebay page where we buy and sell.  Kitty and I just finished a very good auction before the holidays and are just now gearing up another big sale.  Check it out, you just never know what you'll see there!
